# Proposal: Upgrading the HSDS Governance model

@mrshll has created [Summaries of Proposed Issues for 3.1](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mXeBN6bme9Y9zND5O_7yGW5tnwqKc9ALoQOM1Q8QBC8/edit)

This is off the back of the discussion we had at [March’s Technical Meetup](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SYmsSa_U8uQKZW0zhEq8H6CNttNeWPqP7BAV0HDJa2o/edit#heading=h.r7mqr0ikhot4) where we agreed this as an intermediary step to help the forming technical committee engage (without having to parse meaning from github issues) before taking proposed items through [the formal proposal process](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Yc5D8RxeVF73nlkudSR3Hawg6prZAf2OTVOUrTQDnBY/edit#heading=h.ye0dggmm63xe).

There is no immediate need for feedback as we are planning for next steps to be guided by a [fully formed and chartered technical committee](https://forum.openreferral.org/t/forming-a-technical-committee/517/3)
