I have staged a PR which makes some bugfixes to the HSDS Documentation site. Because some of these changes touch normative pages, it requires a PATCH update.
The changes consist of updating the version string – used for URLs and references to HSDS repos – on several pages to 3.3 from older versions. The reason for this drift is that updating these is a manual process, and occasionally gets missed when doing a schema update.
We were informed of this by an independant third party researcher via email.
As per the governance process, this PR will be merged and a new v3.3.1 release issued on 2026-09-02 unless there is a question or concern raised by a member of the Technical Committee
Going forward, I will also be raising an issue to consider how to avoid this in the future and reduce the maintenance burden on the docs.
