After the last Standing Technical Committee meeting where we presented a formal proposal to update the schedule schema; we got the feedback that the Proposal was trying to do too much and I agree. In response to that, I’ve split it into two separate proposals:
Anyone can comment or suggest on the proposals. It would be appreciated if we could have your feedback on these changes before we formally propose them again!
I’ve also omitted the third component of the Schedules Proposal; the one around the “shortcodes” and adding a governed codelist into the Standard. @oughnic made some great points about that in the Technical Committee Meeting, which seemed to get some agreement so I think this bears more thinking about before formalising.
To that end, I’ve pinged @skyleryoung to try and dive deeper into what his original thoughts/proposals were articulating. We’ll work on this together (with anyone else who wants to join!) as much as we reasonably can across the coming months, schedules permitting (ironically…).
