Hi, I'm Chris from the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland

Quick intro from me, Chris Mackie, Director of Digital at the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE). I lead on the ALISS programme, and other pieces of work relating to digital health and social care, all underpinned by human rights principles. ALISS is ‘A Local Information System for Scotland’; a web-based system for finding and sharing information about services, groups, activities and resources to support health and wellbeing in Scotland. The programme is funded by Scottish Government and aspires to be Open Referral compliant (tbc ) Hoping to make connections with others doing similar work and learn from the wider community here. :grinning:

It’s good to “meet” you Chris. I know ALISS has an API heavily influenced by Open Referral before the “UK” work existed. A couple of years ago I tried to speak with someone there about updating your API but, as I recall, there was no-one sufficiently knowledgeable available.

You might want to look at the topic UK Government work update and attend the online meetings mentioned there.

Do keep in touch.

Hi Mike. Thanks for your response. Would it be worthwhile picking up the conversation about the API again? The ALISS programme has moved on quite a bit in the last few years, so would be good to speak with you. If you can drop me an email, at chris.mackie@alliance-scotland.org.uk, that would be great.

Thanks Chris. I’ll email you. It might be worth you attending these two online events, especially the technical one,:

Looking forward to speaking with you. I’ve booked onto the Technical meeting but the other one is sold out
