ORUK &SAVVI : Opportunities for the Tech Sector in Government-Endorsed Data Standards

We are delighted to announce an upcoming event in partnership with techUK: SAVVI & ORUK: Opportunities for the Tech Sector in Government-Endorsed Data Standards.

Taking place online on Wednesday 01st July from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, this session is designed specifically for the technology sector including platform developers, data specialists, and IT suppliers working with local public services.

The session will explore how government-endorsed standards like ORUK and SAVVI are shaping how service information is structured, shared and scaled across the public sector to unlock better service discovery.

Attendees will hear directly from public sector and industry leaders, including Paul Davidson and Shelley Heckman from iStandUK, alongside Sheldon Ferguson from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). They will map out our future roadmap, discuss why these standards have been formally endorsed by government and highlight the commercial and collaborative opportunities available for tech providers.

This event marks an important step in our core focus: sustaining momentum, connecting the community and driving real-world adoption of service data standards. Engaging early with the tech market is vital to achieving that future.

You can register for your place and find out more details on the techUK event page. (Note: Non-techUK members can secure a place by emailing nathaniel.archer@techuk.org).
