UK website upgrade

The Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government (MCLG) project to increase adoption of Open Referral UK (ORUK) will be upgrading the UK website at https://openreferraluk.org/ during the week of Monday 24 March 2025.

I have recorded Summary of new Open Referral UK website from late March 2025 to give a preview of the site. The full video is 6:28 long. At 3:40 is a summary of the new API feed validator.

The Open Referral UK (ORUK) website has now been updated to provide councils with improved access to the information and support they need to adopt the standard. Alongside this, a new suite of resources is now available, covering everything from making the case for adoption to planning implementation and understanding the technical details.

Project initiation document – your guide to getting started
Technical overview – the technical essentials
Updated validator - for testing Application Programming Interfaces
