Visit to the UK – workshopping visual vocabulary?

Hi folks – looks like i’ll be coming to the UK, visiting London probably in the range of Sept 6-12th. It would be great to meet up with folks while I’m in town!

Among other possibilities, I hope to connect in person with Ian Dutnall, who has helped me develop the visual vocabulary that we’ve introduced in this whitepaper. We are in the process of turning that document into a workbook – with participatory design activities that can prompt a group of peers in a community to develop a collaborative strategy for bringing their directory information systems into cooperative alignment. It would be great to test this approach out with anyone who is thinking through implementation strategies that use Open Referral UK’s standards to share resource data! Maybe we can try “drawing” your strategy together and see how it goes.

Also happy to just find time to talk shop in general.

Hey there – looks like the mornings of Monday and Tues Sept 9-10 are good for me to take Open Referral UK meetings. Friday the 6th is also possible early afternoon, but mon or tues might align with other relevant meetings. @gavinbeckett let me know if you’d like to get down some plans!
